This is a fast-paced course to build on the foundations of Freestyle 101 in the vertical! We focus on cartwheels, loops, and blunts, and Franklin’s whitewater park provides a perfect place to learn at all water levels.

This 2-day whitewater kayak instruction course is designed to introduce beginner paddlers to the sport of whitewater kayaking. Our goal is to provide beginner kayakers with a solid foundation of basic kayaking skills necessary to kayak in Class I and II whitewater.

Join this introductory course after our Beginner Kayaking 2-Day instructional. We will get you excited about paddling and start introducing you concepts that will get move you through the rapids with purpose!

In this class students will learn new strokes and develop confidence using them to move fluidly through the river, as well as, keeping yourself upright when things don’t go to plan!

Class II River Running provides students an opportunity to use their knowledge of strokes, concepts, maneuvers, and rolling techniques during a river trip environment. Participants will focus on increasing proficiency and efficiency while paddling.

This whitewater skills workshop is tailored to its participants. Our instructions work with you on your physical and mental game, in a fun on-the-water setting. Paddlers are made on class III rivers, where they make easy rapids harder! This workshop hones their skills, craft, and technique!
